Janet was the closing performer at tonight's Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball at London's 02 Arena, performing a total of eight songs:

Rapper EMINEM is gradually building up his circle of friends after reconnecting with old pals he ditched when he became addicted to drugs.
The Stan hitmaker, real name Marshall Mathers III, struggled for years with an addiction to painkillers and anti-depressants - popping as many as 20 pills a day at the height of his problems, and nearly losing his life after an accidental methadone overdose.
He has been sober for more than 18 months and he’s slowly getting back in touch with acquaintances from his past to make amends for cutting them out of his once drug-riddled life.
Eminem tells Complex magazine, “I’ve gone back and rekindled some old friendships - people I knew from back in the day. I feel like I’m closer with everybody now, certainly - probably a lot easier to get along with, too.”
And the hip-hop star insists he’s back in top form, having shed the excess weight he gained while he was on prescription drugs.
He adds, “I feel better. I feel like a human being again. There was one point in time where I felt like… plastic. I think I looked plastic. My face, fat plastic! I was eating, but the Vicodin made me hungry because it eats up your stomach lining, so you want to fill your stomach back up, but then it stops (blocks) you up so you can’t s**t.
“That’s why I was gaining so much weight, I was just so f**king bloated. It’s a trip when people take sobriety for granted. Feeling trapped in my addiction and then getting sober - you appreciate it so much more, because I didn’t know if I would ever know what it’s like to feel normal again, ever.”

| Update: Rivers' Bus Accident, the account on the band's myspace blog + pictures |

Today at 7:18 AM EST, about 40 miles West of Albany on I-90, the weezer tour bus carrying Rivers and his family and assistants lost control as it hit a patch of black ice. The driver employed every ounce of skill he had in fighting to keep the bus upright, as the vehicle violently fishtailed over the highway. And while the bus did indeed go off the road, plunging about 8-10 vertical feet into a muddy ravine off to the right of the Thruway thus coming to a very abrupt stop, it did not flip or roll, despite having plowed right over a guardrail, flattening it. Kudos to the driver for somehow keeping things as level as they could be - surely this story would have been far more tragic if not for his actions.

Hold on tight, Big Love fans: co-creator Marc V. Olsen says there's a "great story" ahead for the show's closeted gay villain, Alby. Played by Matt Ross, the character will woo his first boyfriend on season four... along with a lot of controversy, of course.

Expect this storyline to create a great deal of acclaim for Alby’s portrayer, Ross. Concluded Olsen: “We gave him a great story, and he’s delivering with the kind of performance that is astonishing.”

| Vivid Offer $1 Million For Stories of Tiger Woods’ Mistresses |

Hey, did you hear Tiger Woods was in some sort of car accident? Just kidding, of course you did. The amount of money that is being thrown around in this Tiger Woods saga is just staggering. Now it is being reported that Vivid Entertainment is offering $1 million dollars to any of Tigers' former mistresses that steps forward and gives them her story about the affair. Vivid will then make and release a movie about the affair. Apparently Vivid has made movies starring Kim Kardashian and rapper Ray J, former Miss USA Kelli McCarty and international TV star Shauna Sand-Lamas. That doesn't exactly sound all that legitimate to me, but that's not the problem.

| Anna Kendrick Approaching A-List Status |

The movie industry is abuzz with praise for Anna Kendrick. She co-stars with George Clooney in the highly anticipated film, Up In The Air and just nabbed best-supporting actress from the National Board Of Review. MTV.com's Hollywood Crush states that if you nab an NBR award, your odds of winning an Oscar are pretty good. Case-In-Point: NBR's best picture winner has also gone on to score an Oscar the past two years.
But why did Air director Jason Reitman cast Kendrick? Certainly not because of her role in Twilight. The vampire flick wasn't exactly a hotbed for talent, according to Reitman. He referred to the movie as a "Graveyard of acting." I'm just going to step to the side and make way for the faux-fanged teenagers with torches. Shoot, some of them are foaming at the mouth!
Reitman knew Kendrick was perfect for the role when he saw her in 2007's Rocket Science. Kendra was witty, sharp and reminded him of a 1940s actress. He knew then that she could go toe-to-toe with George Clooney.
"This was Anna's role," he explained. "I wrote this for Anna. As soon as I saw Rocket Science and I recognized her voice, I started writing for her."

Desperate Housewives troubled teen Danny Bolen (the polite Canadian actor Beau Mirchoff) has seen better days. At the end of the Nov. 29 episode, Danny was hospitalized after taking a fistful of pills. He's OK, but he's insisting that the nurse call him Tyler, which is presumably his given name, from before his family went on the run. TVGuide.com spoke to Mirchoff about how Danny is involved in Sunday's plane-crash story line, who he'll befriend and/or romance and how long the Bolens will be sticking around.

Mirchoff: He's been on the run his whole life, he's never really had a solid friendship or long-lasting relationship. Then he gets rejected again. This is his rock bottom; everything is spiraling down for him.

Juggling quite the hectic schedule, Lady GaGa was spotted sneaking in a pint at a London pub on Sunday evening (December 6).
The “Poker Face” singer was decked out in an all-white ensemble, flashing her derriere as she stumbled into an awaiting car.
As for the day’s agenda, GaGa was among the stars taking the stage on the season finale of “X Factor,” during which time she performed her latest single, Bad Romance.
From there, it was off to Blackpool, where the 23-year-old was lined up to perform for the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh at the Opera House.
According to AP reports, the star-studded variety show sees all proceeds “go to the Entertainment Artists’ Benevolent Fund, which cares for entertainers who need help as a result of old age, ill health, or hard times.”

| Paul Anka's Wife Claims He Pulled A Gun On Her |

Cops were called to the home of veteran singer Paul Anka this week after the star's wife requested help to deal with a domestic dispute.
The singer/songwriter's wife Anna Yeager called 911 twice on Thursday morning after a disagreement over a fired maid escalated to a full-blown screaming match, reports TMZ.com.
Yeager reportedly told police she was scared of her husband, alleging he had pulled a gun out at her the night before.
The website reports that after checking surveillance footage at the couple's California house, officers were happy to leave without taking further action.
It isn't the first time the pair has been embroiled in a domestic dispute - Yeager was arrested for felony domestic battery in November last year after she threw a piece of ice at Anka's head, which left him needing medical attention.
The couple, who have been together for four years, share a son, Ethan.
